As well. as being a qualified dog trainer, I am also a Canine Hoopers World Level 2 Instructor and Assessor.
Hoopers is a relatively new dog sport (similar in ways to agility), that is rapidly growing in popularity. Hoopers is LOW impact making it suitable for dogs of all ages from puppies aged 5 months upwards to senior dogs. Perfect if you want to perfect your handling skills with a puppy before going on to agility when they are older.
Each course runs in blocks of 6 weeks starting with Level One Beginners and then carries on in 6 weekly blocks.
We will teach you to guide your dog through hoops and tunnels and around barrels. You will learn to start running mini courses gradually increasing to full size courses over time. You will need some level of recall* Please note your dog must be happy to work around other dogs and people.. This is also a perfect starting point for those of you with young dogs wishing to go on to agility as you will learn all the foundations of handling.
£60 per dog for a 6 week course. Parking on site and toilets.
No prior experience is necessary just a willingness to have fun. We regularly hold in-house competitions with no pressure.just lots of fun to give you and your dog encouragement and confidence.
If you would like to join our Saturday beginners class in Spring 2021 please contact us now to go on the list.
Would you like to do agility with your dog? We will teach you how to warm up and cool down your dog properly by showing you specific exercises, Whether you want to come just for fun or want to compete, you will learn all you need to correctly guide your dog around a course and how to use contact equipment safely. Our jump heights include micro for tiny dogs. As agility is often highly arousing for dogs we can only accept dogs that do not become reactive towards other dogs whilst training, as you will be working off lead when taking your turn. You will need a reasonable level of recall. If you have a very young dog please start with our Hoopers classes which are low impact. Hoopers can be started from 5 months old. Handling is the same so you will learn all the foundations you need and can then move on to agility once your dog is old enough. For agility we like them to be 10 months old or very close to that age.. We hold zero pressure competitions approximately every 3 months to give you and your dog encouragement and confidence.
Classes are held on Wednesday and Saturday afternoons, and start with an initial 6 week beginners course and then carry on in rolling blocks of 4
£72 per dog for each 6 week course.

Have you just got a new rescue dog or do you have an adolescent or adult dog who has stopped listening or needs a training boost? Would you like them to be polite when greeting people and other dogs with no jumping up? Come back when called and remain calm when asked? Would you like them to be confident in all situations? We can help you turn your struggles into strengths using reward based training combined with cleverly designed FUN games, that will give you an awesome relationship with your dog? This course is suitable for dogs over the age of 5 months.
In this 6 week course we will run through
We use reward based training combined with fun games to build a happy confident dog.
We train taking small steps each week to build duration, distractions and distance which willl give your dog the best possible chance to succeed. If you train too quickly and they fail and then continue to do so, this will make the dog lose interest and in turn will become frustrating for you. We will set you small achievable goals as homework before the next lesson.
** Your dog must be ok working around other dogs and people **
£100 per dog for the 6 week course

Recall Foundations
This is a 3 week course.
using our outdoor fenced off arena gradually working with more distractions,
Experience has taught us that rather than one longer workshop, shorter ones work better as dogs and their owners have a threshold of learning. We can then work in smaller increments giving you time at home to practice what you have learned. This makes it much more achievable and is easier for both you and your dog. Our lessons will also concentrate on getting your dogs focus on you, impulse control and engagement with you and disengagement from distractions in the environment.
£60 per dog for the complete course.
Please note that this workshop will require some home practice to achieve good results, and management of the dog on a longline until the recall has a solid foundation. **This class is only suitable for dogs who are ok with working around other dogs **.Spaces will be limited. Sorry no classes are available at this time.
All of our classes are held at an outdoor venue using a fenced off area (with temporary fencing as you would get at dog shows/ agility competition) . This takes away any worry you might have about your dog running off. We train at Sutton and Epsom RFC Cuddington Court Rugby Lane Cheam SM2 7NF . For a map and directions please go to the class location page .
