Terms and Conditions Dog Training
- By making a booking you accept the following:
- That dog training is not without risk as a physical activity and as such you are reminded to train with due care and attention to your own safety and that of others.
- Happy Pets Services will make every effort to ensure the safety of both clients and dogs during classes.
- Handlers are responsible for the conduct of their dogs at all times.
- It is your responsibility to warm your dog up as recommended before taking part in any class
- Neither Happy Pets Services nor any person acting on their behalf can accept any liability for any loss, damage, accident, injury or illness to dogs, handlers, spectators or any other persons or property whatsoever.
- All dogs must remain on lead unless specifically instructed otherwise by a trainer.
- Bitches in season are not permitted to attend the classes. unless previously agreed with by the trainer.
- Please do not bring your dog to classes if your dog is ill or injured, or has been infected with, or been in contact with another dog infected with a contagious disease, this includes Kennel Cough.
- In the case of severely inclement weather Happy Pets Services reserves the right to cancel lessons if we feel you or your dogs safety will be compromised. You accept that classes will still go ahead at a later date. You accept that we do not offer refunds in such cases as you and your dogs health and safety comes first.
- In the case of a force majeure event outside of our control that inhibits Happy Pets Services to perform to a contractual obligation classes will be rescheduled to a later date .
- Please do not come to class if you yourself have come into contact with an infectious disease.
- You understand that all training will require practicing at home to get consistent results. Please do get the whole family onboard. All I ask is that children do not run about or shout when in class, as this can upset and cause stress for the dogs, especially those that are not used to children.. Bring something for them to do or get them involved
- We use reward based training which will include food, toys and play to motivate your dog
- Please come along and enjoy yourself !
- Things do l not tolerate.
- I DO NOT tolerate harsh handling including shouting at your dog whilst in class as this plays no part in any of our classes.
- Tantrums , throwing your lead around, stamping your feet etc
- Rudeness to either me or your other class members .
- Cancellation policy- Refunds will be given if you decide to cancel 7 days or more before the start of a class or workshop giving me time to advertise the space. This will be less the cost taken by Square if booked online.. After this you may cancel but no refunds will be given.
- In the case of medical emergency / admission for either yourself or your dog, credit may be given at Happy Pets Services discretion towards a future class.
- Photography/ Videos
We would love to be allowed to photograph and/or video your dog during the class for teaching and advertising purposes.If you would rather we do not please let me (Sue) know .Unless you state otherwise, your consent for the use of photographs and/or video is implied. No other photographs and/or videos may be taken without prior permission.
