My name is Sue Ashforth. Animals have always been my passion. I finally got my own dog when I was about 17 after years of wanting one.
For 11.5 years I worked for O'Meara Vets in Ewell ( now Goddards ) and when it changed hands in 2009, I set up Happy Pets Services, originally offering dog walking and cat feeding services as well as training.
I am a qualified dog trainer and my passion is agility and hoopers..
I have 5 lovely dogs of my own, a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, 2 Romanian rescues a Bosnian rescue and a Sprocker who I will compete with in Agility once she is old enough. .
I enjoy a range of training with my own dogs, agility. hoopers, scent work and tricks training. Having rescue dogs with behavioural 'issues' also encouraged me to broaden my skills into behaviour work.
I am a Gold Member of the Pet Professional Network, having undergone a personal assessment, ensuring I meet their high standards and force free philosophy,
I use reward based training incorporating cleverly designed games, that makes training your dog a fun experience for you both..
I am fully insured with Pet Business Insurance.
I hold dog training classes in Cheam, and 1:2:1 training is available at your home or using either Nonsuch or Morden Park as well as my Cheam venue.
I no longer offer cat feeding or dog walking and now focus entirely on training..
