About Me

Hi my name is Sue Ashforth, and animals have always been my passion. 

For 11.5 years I worked for  O'Meara Vets and when  it changed hands in 2009, I set up Happy Pets Services. 

I use reward based training using food, toys and play, to create positive associations . I want training to be enjoyable for both you and your dog making it a far better environment to learn rather than doing 'drills'. 

I regularly attend  training workshops  to keep my  own learning and training up to date, so I can pass on the latest methods to my students. 

 As I am now a full time carer for my partner, I now mainly concentrate on teaching agility on Saturdays  in Cheam and Search and Rescue (mantrailing) workshops in various locations approximately twice a month. I also teach Recall workshops when time allows. 

I am fully insured with Pet Business Insurance  and have.a current up to date DRB check.
